How it works
Pilot first. Then you decide.
The whole point is that you should never pay for a website you haven't seen. So I build it first, send you a letter, and you decide. Here's the full flow.
How it works
I mail you a letter.
Then you decide.
Real paper. Stamped envelope. A QR code on the bottom that opens the site I built for your business. Scan, look around, decide. No cold sales email, no follow-up calls. Either you love it or you don't.
What changes
Your site, before and after.
A real Brevard business's website on day one, then on the day I hand it over.
Before
Welcome to Our Business
© 2012 — Best viewed in Internet Explorer
After
Brevard, NC
Your business, refined.
A site that reads as expensive without being cold. Real photos, real services, real hours — set in type that says you care.
Same business. Same hours. Same phone number. Different impression on the first visit.
- 1
I pick your business
I spot a Brevard-area business with no website or a clearly old one. Coffee shop, hardware store, plumber, pet groomer, whoever. Or you write to me first and put yourself on the list.
- 2
I build a custom pilot
I pull your real business name, hours, services, and a few photos from your Google listing and Facebook page. Then I build a one-to-three page custom site. Not a template. The site you're on right now is the kind of work I make.
- 3
The pilot lives at a private URL
Only you (and anyone you share the link with) can see it until you decide. The URL is shared on the letter as a QR code, so you don't have to type anything.
- 4
I mail you a letter
Actual paper. Stamped envelope. One-page note from me with the QR code printed at the bottom. Email gets ignored. A letter on your counter does not.
- 5
You scan and look around
Open the camera on your phone. Point it at the QR code. Tap the link. That's your pilot site. Click everything. Show it to your spouse, your business partner, the friend who refuses to use a smartphone. Take your time.
- 6
If you love it, you pay $399
One-time. Stripe or Square checkout link, paid to my parents' business account. Once it clears, I point your domain at the site and it's live within 24 hours. 30 days of hosting included.
- 7
Optional: I keep it running
After the first 30 days, you can keep me on for $15 / month or $99 / year. That covers hosting, dependency updates, small content edits (new hours, new menu item, a photo swap), and the "something's broken, please fix it" email. Or you take the keys and host it yourself. No lock-in either way.
- 8
If you don't love it, do nothing
Throw the letter out. I won't call. I won't email. I won't show up at your shop. The pilot URL stays up for a week and then I retire it. Worst case you lost five minutes of your day looking at a free site.
Already got a letter?
Tap the QR code to open your pilot. When you're ready, click "I want it" on your pilot site and you'll be back here on the checkout page.
Or write me direct →$399 flat. one-time, everything included.
Want me to build you a pilot?
Tell me a little about your business. I'll build you a custom pilot site, mail you a letter with a QR code, and you can decide if you want it. No charge to look.
